Which will you spend your money on, a trip with friends or a pair of expensive shoes In my opinion, experiences are better worth spending money on.
My first reason is that experiences make us 41 from others. The things that we’ve seen and done 42 us most, not the things we’ve bought. For example, getting expensive clothes won’t probably change you, but a camping trip 43 will. It’ll make you more independent.
What’s more, I 44 experiences because they bring people together. Sharing a new experience 45 long-lasting memories. Three years ago I met some teenagers on a study trip and now I still 46 them, but I nearly forget what I bought during the trip.
Here comes my final 47 . Although some people say it is a great 48 to own things, I think using the things you own is more pleasant. For example, I spend most of my 49 money on new parts for my old mountain bike, but I love the experience of riding bikes, not owning bike parts!
All in all, experiences make us who we are. So next time before you pay for something, you’d better 50 this question: Which will I spend my money on, a trip or a pair of shoes

David Bennett, a 57-year-old man from the US, received the world’s first pig heart transplant (移植)on January 7th, 2022. He died two months later on March 9th.
It may sound like a failure, but it actually is a big step forward for xenotransplantation(异种器官移植).
Xenotransplantation has been a hot topic in medical research for many years. Doctors and scientists look for ways to solve the big problem of organ(器官)transplant waiting lists. In the US alone, over 100,000 patients are on a list waiting for new organs. Many will die before getting their chance to receive a heart, a kidney(肾)or other important organs. As a result, medical science has turned to animal organs.
There have been few successful xenotransplantation cases since the early 20th century. Usually, patients’ bodies reject(排斥)the animal organs. Bennett lived much longer than other xenotransplantation patients. That’s because scientists removed pig genes(基因)that would cause fast rejection. Then they added human genes to help the body accept the organ.
In fact, Bennett's case was not the only success. “A lot of new information that doctors got through other organ transplants will come out. The development of this field will benefit from it and move forward at faster speed.” Muhammad Mohiuddin, director of the transplant program, told The Guardian.
How long did David Bennett live after the pig heart transplant
A. 9 months. B. 3 months. C. 2 months. D. 1 month.
57. Which is true according to Paragraph 3
Doctors stops using animal organs because of David Bennett’s death.
Animal organs helps solve the problem of organ transplant waiting list.
Compared with human organs, animal organs are easier to be accepted.
D. Many patients died because of the organ transplant.
______may be the main problem of xenotransplantation.
A. The failure of David Bennett’s operation B. The high price of organs
C. The ways of getting organs D. The body’s rejection
The underlined word “benefit” in this passage means _______.
A. improve B. exchange C. manage D. steal
Why does the writer write the passage
To remind us that it’s a waste of time to research xenotransplantation more.
To show that it’s worth researching xenotransplantation.
To tell us it’s too difficult to carry on xenotransplantation.
To warn that it’s harmful to use animal organs.

His teachers call me almost every day, but I’m just too busy to keep an eye on him. 65. I don't know why my son doesn't understand me. I try my best to do almost everything for him. But he still complains. And sometimes he even shouts at me. Don’t do too much for your son. In fact, it is not good for them, because you are developing his bad habit. So you should let him take his own responsibility(责任). Using mobile phones too often is bad for their eyes. Many kids become short-sighted because of it. You can talk to her teacher or her best friend. And try to find out what makes her upset. Don't just shout at him. You’d better talk to him calmly about the harm that the online games bring. Because of the COVID-19, students in many parts of China have to stay at home to have online classes. Try talking to the boy’s parents privately about your worries and maybe they have good ideas. Being too busy is not a good excuse. After all, nothing is more important than your kids.
