Tencent, a Chinese company, is using a special way to stop children from playing its online video games late at night. That is facial recognition. “Children, put your phones away and go to sleep,” Tencent said. The new technology, Midnight Patrol, came out in 2021.
Spending too much time playing computer games is bad for young people’s health. In fact, in 2019, China started to stop people under 18 from playing online games between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. It also limited bow much time young people can spend playing games.
