Do you like to go to the library If you are lucky, you may meet a pig there. Her name is Daisy Ⅱ. The pig star travels to different libraries for story hours. She helps teach children that reading is fun.
Everything started in 1995. That year, Mr. and Mrs. Minor got a pet pig called Daisy. Daisy loved different people. She even did a Kiss A Pig event. Seahorses(海马) are small, thin fish with a long nose. People call them “seahorses” because they look like horses. Seahorses are fish, but they aren't great swimmers.
There are over 40 different kinds of seahorses. They mostly live in warm, shallow (浅的) waters around the world. Seahorses are important to the ocean environment.
However, many kinds of seahorses are in danger(处于危险之中). One of them is White Seahorses. White Seahorses live near Sydney, Australia. In 2020, they became the second most endangered(濒危的) kind of seahorses in the world because people polluted their living places there.
To help save(拯救) them, the scientists have released (放生) White Seahorses four times this year. In the fifth time, they put 380 White Seahorses into the sea. Luckily, about 90% of them are alive this time. It is unusually high.

However, they are in danger as a result of the hunting from human beings. What's worse, people cut down so many trees that their homes become smaller and smaller.
