Nowadays, there are more and more cafes in libraries and bookshops. New study found that a certain level of noise in a place like a cafe can actually develop your creative ideas. Here are some other very interesting findings of the study.
It is found that sound stimuli (刺激) in the background helps us improve decision making. Some have even called it the coffee shop effect (影响). So, the jazz music and light conversation aren't noisy any more-they could help you come up with your next great work.
One of the biggest things about coffee shops is the social-improvement effect: you go there, you see other people working and it makes you just naturally start working as well. Just watching them can encourage you to work harder.
Visual variety (视觉多样性) helps in solving a problem, but requires you to think outside the box. If you always stay in your office, it will be sometimes difficult to have solutions. Coffee shops, though, generally have visual stimuli. And hitting up different coffee shops each time keeps things even more different.
Pablo Picasso, Bob Dylan, Jean-Paul Sartre. Simone de Beauvoir and JK Rowling—whether they're painters, singers, songwriters, philosophers or writers, people across nations and centuries have developed their creativity working at a table in a cafe.
19. Which of the following is social-improvement effect mentioned in Paragraph 3

A. To introduce them. B. To describe a situation.
C. To support his idea. D. To express the feeling.

B. The importance of drinking coffee every day.
C The famous people who work in coffee shops.
The good sides of working in the coffee shops

It's known that green tea is a symbol of Chinese culture. Also, it helps to improve health in so many ways that some people think of it as a kind of medicine. Perhaps that is why the Chinese have been using it for more than 4.000 years to treat all kinds of medical problems. Today, scientists know that there are catechin, caffeine, vitamin C and theanine in green tea that are good for health.
Catechin is helpful tor lowering (降低) cancer (癌症) risk. It protects the body from cancer-causing substances (物质) and slows the growth of cancer. Besides fighting cancer, catechin prevents serious health problems like heart disease.
Caffeine causes the heart to beat faster. That's why it was once thought that caffeine was not very healthy, but studies suggest that there are also good reasons for drinking caffeine. Specifically, cafteine has to do with a lower risk for Parkinson's disease and liver (肝脏) disease. Yet, caffeine also has some weaknesses. It can influence sleep and make people nervous, so experts advise teenagers not to have more than 100 ml of caffeine a day. This is about the caffeine of a small cup of coffee.
Vitamin C is something that the human body cannot make enough by itself. So we have to get it through food and drink. The vitamin may play a role in improving physical conditions to colds and the flu. Also, it helps people to get well more quickly from those illnesses.
Theanine is another healthy substance found in tea. It has been shown to lower stress, both mental and physical, and increase mind abilities. It is also used for preventing some brain diseases.
As you can see, green tea has many good values. Drinking it may help you stay healthy. Of course, as with any healthy substance, it is important to check if there are any bad influence as well.

26. Which of the following best shows the structure of the text

How do plants grow in space An experiment(实验) on the Tiangong space station can provide the answer. Chinese astronauts have successfully grown rice in space. This makes it possible for astronauts to grow food to support long-term space stays.
"The rice plants are growing very well," Zheng Huiqiong, a scientist at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, told China Daily. Since the rice experiment began on July 29, the plants of the tall shoot rice have reached a height of about 30 cm. They're much taller than the box, which is about 14 cm. Plus, the plants of the dwarf rice (短杆水稻) have grown to around 5 cm.
Although there have been other rice experiments in space, the one on Tiangong is different. For the first time in history, the experiment aims to produce the whole life cycle (周期) of the rice. It begins with a seed (种子) and ends with new seeds produced.
The astronauts will keep watching the plants. If the experiment is successful, they will collect the newly produced seeds and bring them back to Earth for further studies, Zheng added.
Since the 1980s, China has been taking the seeds of crops to space. But growing rice in space is a different challenge because of the bad conditions of space. Micro-gravity, no enough air and high-energy space rays may make the plants difficult to grow.
Rice has been a main food for astronauts for a long time. US astronauts on the Apollo 11-the first humans to land on the moon in July 1969 - ate cold dried chicken and rice during their trip to space.
If such an experiment goes well, astronauts will be able to plant their food in space. They don't need to take a large number of food with them for their space travels.
27. How tall can the plants of the tall shoot rice reach in Tiangong experiment
A.5 cm. B.14 cm. C.30cm. D.50 cm.
28. What is special about the rice experiment on Tiangong
A. Ir's the first time to plant rice in space.
B. We may get new seeds at the end of it.
C. It can change the bad conditions in space.
D. It can provide enough food for space trips.
29. What does the underlined word "them" in Paragraph 4 refer to
A. The astronauts. B. The rice plants.
C. The rice seeds. D. The studies.
30. What could be the best title for the passage
A. Taking astronauts to Tiangong.
B. Landing on the moon.
C. Offering astronauts new food.
D. Planting for space success.
