Making pottery
When I traveled to Yunnan at the age of 9,I came
across pottery.'I couldn't help falling in love with it.
When I returned to Chengdu,I practiced making some
pots or vases(花盆或花瓶).Although my school life is
busier,I continued this hobby because,luckily,there is a
pottery club at our school.Every week,I spend about
two hours as a potter.I even bought some books about
pottery and tried to learn more about it.Now I am good
at pottery.

Learning French
When I was in Grade 2,I learned French at school.
I found it hard and didn't try my best to study it.When
I left primary,school,I realized that I might never have
the chance to learn French again.I decided to study it by
myself.I took French classes on the app Duolingo.I
took the classes every day and passed all the tests.At
the same time,I found many other interesting websites
(to learn from.Now I have fallen in love with
French and improved a lot.

Playing the piano
I taught myself to play the piano!As I began to
take up this hobby,I found it difficult to start with it.
But because of my big interest,I didn't give up.So I
bought some piano books.I also watched some piano-
teaching lessons from different people.Later,I could
play some easy songs.I even took part in the
International Chopin Piano Competition after years of
practicing.
