Dear friends.
First of all,let's offer our deepest sympathies on the death of scientist Yuan Longping.
Grandpa Yuan spent his life researching rice and was a household name in China,known as
"Father of Hybrid Rice".Even in his later years,Grandpa Yuan did not stop doing research.
He made great contribution to China's food security and world grain development.I think the
best way to memorialize the great scientist is to learn from him,particularly his devotion to his
work,and his desire to serve the motherland and the people.
Greatness comes out of the ordinary.I believe with a firm ideal in heart and tireless work in
