“I'm such a klutz! (笨手笨脚的人)”Rachel always said to herself. It seemed like wherever she went, little accidents followed. In art class, she accidentally knocked over a jar of water, making a mess on her desk and giving Lisa a face painting. On her way home, she even knocked a lady's hat over her eyes on the bus. Oh, no! Rachel said sorry, got off and ran indoors.
Back at home, her mom, sick in bed, worried Rachel might cause more accidents, asked her to go to Mrs. Willow's house for some medicine instead.“Mrs. Willow's house is like a museum of precious(珍贵的) things, so maybe stay at the door, honey.”
Mrs. Willow was an old lady with white hair and blue eyes living in an old house. She greeted Rachel warmly and invited Rachel inside. Then, just as Mrs. Willow handed her the medicine,a cat jumped out, surprising Rachel into a backward dance, and crash! A vase met the floor, broken. Rachel's heart sank.
“Oh, sweetheart,”Mrs. Willow smiled, not a bit upset.“Believe me,I was the queen of klutzes at your age.”Sharing stories of her own childhood, Mrs. Willow gifted Rachel a golden piece of advice,“Imagine yourself as a graceful swan(优雅的天鹅). It really works.”
Doubtful but willing, Rachel whispered to herself,“I'm a swan,I'm a swan,” as they cleaned up the mess. Then, they sat down to enjoy tea and cakes and Rachel didn't break anything else.“Being a swan isn't so hard after all,”Rachel smiled.

You wake up one morning, and your head feels like it's burning. Right away, you think,“Oh, no! I have a fever!” However, when you take your temperature, you see that it's only37.2 ℃.
So, you don't have a fever. Or, do you From the standards(标准) in use for a long time,a fever starts at 38 ℃. Some doctors now don't agree with that, though. They feel our ideas about fevers are wrong and too old. It's the same for normal body temperatures.
These doctors argue that everyone's normal body temperature isn't 37℃. It's 36.6 to 38℃for kids and 36.1 to 37.2 ℃ for adults. Women also have a higher temperature than men.Besides, people's body temperatures don't stay the same all the time.
When your body temperature is around 38℃, you have a fever. Many people think it's a bad thing, but it's not. Fevers show that the body is doing its job. It's fighting the bad viruses(病毒) and bacteria(细菌) in your body.
The body attacks them by turning up the heat. That way, it's harder for the viruses and bacteria to make copies of themselves. When their numbers go down, the fever does, too.
Mild fevers don't last long. So, let them do their jobs and don't treat them. Instead, try to find the cause and treat that. If the fever reaches 39.4 ℃ or higher, call your doctor. Do the same if the fever lasts longer than three days. Fevers fight to protect us, so they're our friends, not our enemies.

Learning to get along with all kinds of people is not simple. It's a bit like solving a difficult puzzle—it asks for lots of patience, understanding, and even some practice. But, this skill is super important if we want to be happy and have peaceful days at school, at home, or wherever we go.
36 Here are a few tips to help.
First of all, whenever someone is talking to you, make sure you're really listening. 37 Nodding your head, making eye-contact, and asking questions. It's not just about hearing their words, but also trying to understand how they feel.
Next, if you find something you agree with, let them know with a smile or a kind word. But, if you don't see eye-to-eye, there's no need to argue or get upset. 38 You can share your thoughts in a gentle way, without making anyone feel bad.
39 If you don't have anything nice to say, maybe it's better not to say anything at all.Words are powerful and can either make someone's day brighter or hurt their feelings, so choosing kind words is really important.
Lastly, remember, it's okay to be different. Just like in a garden full of various flowers, our differences make the world interesting. 40 Getting along with everyone might seem like a big challenge, but just like learning to ride a bike, once you get the hang of it, it gets easier. And, the more we practice patience, kindness, and understanding, the happier and more peaceful our world can be.
根据材料内容,从下面五个选项中选出能填入文中空缺处的最佳选项,使文章意思通顺、内容完整。
A. Another good tip is to think before you speak.
B. Everyone has their own opinions, and that's okay.
C. We don't have to agree on everything to get along.

One possible version:
Learning English words can be a challenge for many of us, but surprisingly, we often find that remembering words comes both quickly and easily.
For example, the word“butterfly”stuck in my mind one day. Our teacher showed us a picture of a bright and colorful butterfly. She told us that in English,“butter”and“fly”come together to make“ butterfly. ”I thought it was funny to imagine butter flying, so Inever forgot that word. Another word I remember well is“astronaut.”I saw a movie about space and learned that people who go to space are called astronauts. The idea of traveling to the stars was so cool that the word“astronaut”stayed with me.
Talking about these words in English class made learning fun. It showed me that remembering new words can be easy if the words mean something special to us.
